November sure snuck up on us with the last few weeks being super busy! As far as construction goes, we have been moving along quite steadily especially in the last little bit. I have included a couple of photos below of the construction over the last few weeks. We began by trenching (removing concrete) for the plumbing that connects to all of our dental chairs. We have room for 7 dental chairs in total but will not have this many any time soon. We plan the plumbing now so that we can add chairs in the future if we want. It is quite the process so it is better to do this now rather than later! This was then followed by laying down the plumbing in these trenched areas:

Next the plumbing was put in, covered and filled in with cement:

After this was complete we began framing so that we can begin placing drywall soon! We also exposed the front window adjacent to main street and it makes such a huge difference to bring in natural light!

We plan to have all of the framing done in the next week or so and will begin electrical and drywall soon!

My parents were also out during the last week of October from the farm in Manitoba. They were excited to see all of the progress made in the building and we snapped a picture inside! My parents will be back out to visit closer to opening in February!

While all of this was happening we also got to participate in the Masquerade on Main hosted by the BIA.  My parents were out for this as well and got to see what Halloween in Grand Valley is all about! It was a beautiful day with so many unique and creative costumes! Jeff and I were dressed as Mickey and Minnie Mouse this year, while Arthur was a cowboy!
