December 2023

While I am a little late to post for December they always say it is better late then never! We have been very busy over the last month or so and with the holidays mixed in we can certainly say the month flew by.

Exciting things have been happening in our space as we keep moving along towards opening day. I am writing this update in mid-January so there is a lot more that has been completed since last time. We officially have all of our drywall and initial coats of paint and primer. Our flooring will be going in this week and next followed by equipment installation. I have learned a number of things throughout this process however the biggest one is that most steps take a bit longer than I would expect. I appreciate this however as our crew has been very diligent and detail oriented to make sure things are done properly and well the first time around. 

We have also finished selecting all of our waiting room furniture and ordered our doors that will be used to close off each dental op when we want privacy. These I am most excited about as they are a custom made "barn style" door that will really tie in our country-style theme. 

Its hard to believe this was already almost a month ago but early in December I got a chance to participate in the coaches game for the "Hockey Day in Grand Valley." This was fun as some of the twisters got to coach us this time around and it was a lot of fun for all. See below the picture of myself after the coaches game in front of our sign on the boards. Minor hockey was always a big part of my life growing up and we are happy to sponsor minor hockey in town this year and going forward. 

 Our projected opening dates are still on track with an end of Feb start date being most likely still. We will continue to update if anything changes.
